An AI whiteboard for teachers and tutors: worked examples, diagrams and practice in minutes

The Draimo team

A pale meadow of green and gold light

Short answer

Draimo Ink is a page you write on with a stylus or mouse, with an assistant that draws and checks on request. Teachers and tutors use it to prepare worked examples, ask for labelled diagrams and function plots beside them, generate practice problems like the one just solved, and check a solution line by line. Export the page as PNG or SVG for slides, or print it as a handout.

Try it in Draimo

What a whiteboard with an assistant changes

Preparing a lesson usually means three tools: something to write the worked example, something to draw the diagram, and something to make the practice sheet. Ink puts them on one page. You write the example by hand, as you would on the board. Draimo draws the diagram or plot beside it when you ask, and writes a practice problem like the one you just solved.

Five things to do with it this week

Each of these takes a few minutes, and each uses the page you are already writing on.

Lesson tasks on one Draimo Ink page
TaskHow
A worked example with a diagramWrite the solution by hand, then ask for the labelled diagram beside it
A graph for any functionAsk for a plot of the function; it is drawn next to your working
Practice problemsAsk for a problem like the last one, written on the page
Check your own keyAsk for a Check on your answer key before it goes to students
A handout or a slideExport as PNG or SVG for slides, or print the page

Diagrams drawn the way you would draw them

Ask for a force diagram on a ramp, a labelled plant cell, a voltage divider or the water cycle, and Draimo draws it element by element in its own hand: lines, arrows, shapes and labels, with maths typeset properly. Because it is drawn rather than pasted, it sits naturally beside your handwriting, and SVG export keeps every line sharp on a projector.

The guide on sketching plans and circuits shows worked examples with a voltage divider and a beam.

Checking work, without grading it for you

Check points to the line where a solution went wrong, with no grade. Mark adds ticks and crosses beside each line. Use Check on your own answer keys before class; use it with a student in a tutoring session so they find the slip themselves. The final judgement on a student's work stays yours.

Student privacy matters. Do not put student names or records on a page you send for a read; write the working, not the name.

Practice that matches the lesson

After a worked example, ask for a practice problem like it. Draimo writes it on the page, labelled as a problem, at the same level. Ask for a harder one, or one with negative numbers, or one set in a context your class cares about. Solve it live, then ask for a Check.

From the page to a full document

When a lesson needs more than a page, such as a unit plan, a study guide or a parent letter, ask in Draimo's chat for the document. On Draimo Pro it is written and downloaded as a Word, PDF or PowerPoint file; the guide to AI documents explains how to get one you can hand out without rewriting.

What it costs

Writing and drawing use no credits, and pages save on your device without an account. Each time Draimo reads a page, to check, mark, draw or answer, it uses 15 credits. Filing pages in your Library is on paid plans, and documents are part of Draimo Pro.

Questions people ask

Can AI make worksheets and practice problems?
Yes. On a Draimo Ink page, ask for a problem like the last one and Draimo writes it on the page. For a full worksheet document, ask in Draimo's chat; documents are part of Draimo Pro.
Can it draw diagrams for my lessons?
Yes. Ask for a labelled diagram, a plot of a function or a chart, and Draimo draws it beside your work. Export it as SVG to keep it sharp on slides.
Can it check my answer key?
Yes. Ask for a Check and Draimo notes any line where the working goes wrong, without grading.
Does it grade students?
Only if you ask it to Mark, which adds ticks and crosses. The judgement on a student's work stays with you.
Do I need special hardware?
No. Any stylus, a finger or a mouse works, on iPad, Android, Windows, Mac and Chromebooks, in the browser.
What does it cost?
Writing and drawing use no credits. Each read uses 15 credits. Library filing is on paid plans, and documents are on Draimo Pro.

Write one worked example, then ask Draimo for the diagram beside it.
