Get your handwritten maths checked by AI, line by line, without being given the answer
The Draimo team

Short answer
Write your working by hand on a Draimo Ink page, with a pen, a finger or a mouse, and press Check. Draimo reads the page and leaves a short note in the margin beside the line where something went wrong, without grading you or writing out the full answer. Fix it yourself, ask for a similar problem, and solve that one too.

Why a check beats an answer
Seeing a worked answer feels like learning and mostly is not: you recognise each step without being able to produce it. Finding your own slip, with a pointer to the line, is the part that sticks. That is why Check never grades and never writes the solution for you; it says what went wrong and where.
When you want to know how you would score, Mark adds a tick or a cross beside each line instead.
How to use it
- Write the problem and your working, one step per line.
- Press Check. Notes appear in the margin, level with the line they are about.
- Correct the line yourself.
- Press Give me a problem for a similar one, written on the page with the maths typeset.
- Solve it and Check again.
Beyond algebra
Physics derivations, chemistry equations, circuit sums and statistics work the same way. Ask for a plot of the function you are working with, or a bar chart of your data, and Draimo draws it on the page next to your work.
Questions people ask
- Does it work with my handwriting?
- It reads ordinary handwriting well. Writing one step per line, with space between lines, helps it point at the right one.
- Is this allowed for homework?
- Checking your own working is how tutors help. Follow your school's rules for graded work, and hand in what you wrote yourself.
- How much does a check cost?
- Writing uses no credits; each read of the page uses 15, and every account gets a monthly credit allowance.
