Cookie and Storage Policy

Version 1.0Effective 22 July 2026Updated 22 July 2026

1. Strictly necessary technologies

  • `__session` supports authenticated server requests.
  • `mariachat_sessions` stores a local chat cache for the browser experience.
  • Onboarding, auth handoff, theme, language, pricing-region, product-cache and tour keys support requested functionality or preferences.

2. Analytics and measurement

Draimo uses privacy-minimised PostHog product analytics to understand service use, improve reliability and improve the platform. For users connecting from Kenya, this limited PostHog mode may be enabled by default on a regional basis. It does not identify users, create person profiles, capture IP addresses, persist browser identifiers, record sessions or capture typed content. Those users can turn analytics off at any time through Privacy settings. In jurisdictions where prior consent is required, analytics does not initialize before the applicable choice is granted. Microsoft Clarity may be enabled through a separately configured deployment script; when it is enabled, its consent, masking, retention and project settings are recorded in Draimo's internal vendor register and reflected in the applicable privacy controls.

3. Controls

Draimo provides Accept all, Reject non-essential, Customize, Save choices, reopen settings and withdrawal controls. A saved cookie and analytics choice is kept for three months before Draimo asks the user to review it again. Kenya users can turn default-on PostHog analytics off through Privacy settings. Marketing and product-improvement purposes remain separate. Browser settings may also clear local storage and cookies, but clearing storage may sign out users or remove local cached work.

4. Inventory status

Draimo maintains this inventory as part of its privacy programme and updates it when browser technologies, providers or purposes change. Users can review or withdraw optional choices through Privacy settings.

This document explains Draimo's current service terms and safeguards in clear language. It is not legal advice, a certification, or a waiver of rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
