Why recording beats frantic note-taking

Writing everything down means you listen to half of it. Recording lets you listen properly and still keep every word. The problem with a raw recording is that nobody plays back an hour of audio to find one sentence. That is the part Echo fixes.

How it works

Open Echo and choose what you are recording: a lecture, a meeting, or anything else.
Tap record. The level meter moves with your microphone, so you can see it is hearing the room.
Stop when you are done. Echo transcribes the recording and writes a summary.
Ask about it in chat: dates, definitions, what was assigned, what was said about the exam.

Try it before you sign up

On the Draimo home page you can record up to a minute without an account. The recording stays on your device until you sign in, and nothing is uploaded before that. Sign in and it is saved and transcribed for you.

Recording is not the same as talking

Echo records something you want to ask about later. Talking to Draimo out loud, a live back-and-forth conversation, is a separate feature called Talk, on monthly and yearly plans.

Be considerate

Ask before you record. Many schools and workplaces have rules about recording lectures and meetings, and the people speaking deserve to know.
